Shostakovich / Buerkle - Four Preludes, Op.34 (SOMusic)

This wonderful arrangement by Brian Buerkle was written for David Krehbiel and the Music Academy of the West. It was later recorded in 2003 by the Summit Brass on their CD entitled LIVE. The piece features four contrasting movements that display the virtousity of the entire brass section. It is scored for 4 Trumpets, 4 Horns, 4 Trombones, Tuba, and Percussion. Approximately 8:00.
